This book was one of Rachel Griffith’s picks from Oprah magazine. It’s basically a diary of how Frankl struggled to make sense of the suffering he witnessed as a prisoner in a concentration camp.
He came to believe people can maintain their humanity. In the second part of the book Frankl presents his theory of logotherapy; that if we can find meaning in an experience then we can endure any psychic suffering.
Frankl’s book has great reviews on Amazon, and you can look inside and read a few random pages for yourself. See what you think.
Man’s Search for Meaning, Viktor E. Frankl $13.57
